The 2-Finger Trigger style door handles started on the 1973 model according
to my reference.

Subject: [vintagvw] Which door handle?

Volks,

When I took the door handles off my 1970 beetle to get them same-keyed at a
local lock shop, I learned that I have two different models' handles. Both
are the "trigger" type, but one has a smooth trigger, and the other has a
trigger with two scallops, as if to fit two fingers, and it's a little bit
longer. There are some other slight differences; for instance, the "hook"
at the rear of the handle is "L"-shaped on one, and "T" shaped on the other.

Which handle is correct for a 1970 sedan?
