In the past, I'd occasionally sought stuff from BFY Obsolete Parts, and was
thinking of searching again. But from various online discussions, it looks
like they've fallen on hard times, leaving some really angry customers.
Does anybody have any recent experience with them? I'm now leery.
For years, the VW factory offered its European customers optional foglights
on the beetles. They came with a custom VW bracket manufactured for VWAG by
Hella and bearing the VW logo. My usual European sources are clueless where
a pair for 68-72 beetles might still be found. Does anybody have any ideas?
I could even do with Hella. (I have some Hella NOS foglight brackets for
earlier bumpers through '67 -- be willing to swap.)
