Used them for my last headliner install on a '62 Bug. The product was a 
perfect fit and went in nicely.

Definitely get the headliner and the padding - it's what makes a 
Volkswagen convertible top special. You can install just the top cover, 
but it won't fit as well and will look (and sound, and feel) cheap, 
especially inside.
