Volks, If youre a fanatic on original equipment, as I am, youve probably got a bunch of places to go hunting. I recommend checking out German eBay. Ive been able to track down a lot of Europe-only stuff for my 1970 police beetle by going onto www.ebay.de and looking around. Its not necessary to speak German (but of course it helps) if youre careful and keep your communication simple. You do have to be a registered eBay user (in the USA or elsewhere, of course. Its by far the easiest if you find a sell who (a) is willing to take PayPal, and (b) says s/hes willing to ship weltweit (worldwide) -- otherwise you might not even be allowed to bid.
