I use the X-BeenThere and Sender headers for lists. This allows automatic separate filtering of private, off-list, replies to on-list message using the [vintagvw] tag.
Emails that have [vintagvw] in the subject but not the X-BeenThere header get sorted into my /VVW/Personal folder automatically.
