Eric,

Yes, it really was flat and yes, an auto glass place can cut a perfect
replacement -- without the trademarks. obviously. I got a new one cut for
my 1961 -- and just for fun, got it using tinted glass. Quite inexpensive
at the time.

Subject: [vintagvw] 1956 VW Windshield

Hello,
I'm looking for a windshield for my 1956 Sedan. Any ideas where I can get
one? Is the glass really flat? Can a local glass company cut me one that
would work and look nice?

Thanks, Eric
