With the advent of winter, my beetle will start in the morning but usually
won't do much else unless I let it idle.

Although I leave the garage door open when I do this, my wife complains
that the smell gets in the house.

Once it has been running for a while, it doesn't want to act like it dies
out.

I am not concerned too much about the smell. If I could find some way in
cold weather to just be able to take off, then I wouldn't mind it at all.

What do you all think?
