There are also stainless steel bumpers. If memory serves, the later style is cheaper than the earlier "plumbers delight" style.
I guess, it all depends upon the look of the car. I'm toying around with the idea of painting a set of repro plumbers delights to match the body paint color, then having a stainless set to swap out with.
