Why not write to the WCM folks and request a change (if they have the
correct rubber) or return? Does the WCM website state clearly that it is the
'cal look' type? If so, they may not return. I may be mistaken though.

Somehow I ended up with a new WCM windshield seal for my '72 SuperBeetle that
is not the seal I wanted. It is the style WITHOUT the slit for the trim strip
(one catalog calls it "Cal-Look"), fitting VW Beetle '65-'77 and SuperBeetle
'71-'72.
What I *really* want is a new windshield seal WITH the slit for the trim strip
(MAMW incorrectly calls it "American-Style"). I'd prefer OEM-type West Coast
Metric (or similar top quality), not a Brazilian counterfeit.
I'm willing to swap and to cover all mailing costs. It's a $70 mistake that I'm
willing to pay to rectify.
Can anybody help me out?
