I'm finishing a 2-year pan-off restoration of my 1959 ragtop bug. Unfortunately, I'm missing the metal strip that connects the rear of the ragtop portion of the headliner to the main portion of the headliner, along the rear edge of the ragtop opening (not the one that secures the rear bow to the roof). This missing piece is preventing me from scheduling my headliner guy for the headliner installation and getting back on the road. If you have an extra one, or are willing to part out your unused ragtop mechanism, I would like to buy it. OR at least send me accurate measurements (width, length, hole diameters, distances between hole centers, steel gauge) - in millimeters - so that I can fabricate one myself.
