Anna and all,
yes, the volume of the voice memo is turned up. Other memos play fine.
The voice memo I am talking about shows up the length, so when I am in the list of voice memos I can see it is more than two hours. I did not have my headphones plugged in when recording, so do not think it might be that.
With kind regards
Maria

Hi,

This is probably a dumb question, but did you try turning up the volume while the memo was playing? Just because you could hear other sounds doesn't necessarily mean the Voice Memos volume was turned up.

Best,
Anna

Hi list,
talking about syncing voice memos, I have a problem I've been trying to figure out. The thing is I've recorded my lecture on wednesday. My recording was in the list and it was about 130 minutes long. When I press the play button to listen to it, I cannot hear any sound of it, I can see elapsed and remaining time, but not sound. Please does anyone know what to do with it? Is there any chance to get it fixed? Why does it happen? How can I make sure that Iphone is recording the sound? It is the only way I can record my lectures.
Thank you for your help in advance.
With kind regards
Maria

Hi Catherine,

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer.

2. Focus on its name in the iTunes source list.

3. Check Music in the set of radio buttons that controls which tab in the iPhone dialog box to view.

4. Ensure that Sync Voice Memos is checked.

5. Press the Apply button.

Now all your voice memos should be copied to your computer. They'll show up in an iTunes playlist called Voice Memos and in a Voice Memos folder in your iTunes music folder.

Note that voice memos are in AAC format, so they'll only play on your Stream if you have the extra feature pack. I think they'll play if you have this, but I haven't tried it, so can't guarantee it.

HTH,
Anna

Hi Wise Listers
I get really confused about syncing – not really sure why.
Can someone please provide a step-by-step method for syncing Voice Memos from the iPhone to the computer? Ideally (and eventually) I like to listen to and bookmark the voice memo files on the Stream. Am I better to go through iTunes or via the iPhone as a drive? I get a bit anxious re the second option.
Your help and advice gratefully received.
Thanks
Catherine
