You cannot delete them all at once, but you can delete them one at a time. Open each conversation and hit the speakerphone/handset on menu button in the top right. A rather strange menu will open overlaying the screen. VO still detects the screen behind the items if you are not exactly on top of one. The buttons each show up as two controls because there is a picture and text below it which voiceover treats separately. The delete chat button is the bottom right button of the six buttons in the menu. There are two other buttons which say delete chat as well, but the upper of these allows you to toggle alerts for an individual conversation, and the other clears the screen of a conversation window.
