Hi, I totally disagree. Spelling is of course taught in the early years of school but, it is something you add to as you get older, on into adulthood. When you are no longer in school, no one is forcing you to read. Even more so if your a Braille user. This is a issue with the blind and sighted alike. People aren't reading as much as they use to. There's really no mystery to it. Ones proficiency in spelling and vocabulary is like a muscle. If you don't use it it atrophies.
