Actually, I too am being driven crazy by this for the reason Chuck
described. If I answer with my headset, my phone might be buried in
my pack. I don't always want to have to stop and get out my phone
just to shut VoiceOver up during a call. I'd love to be able to deal
with this some other way. Yes, all of your suggestions work well when
the phone itself is in hand. But it's a dumb reason to have to get
the phone out. I took this to be the main point of Chuck's message.
I'm thinking of writing to Apple and asking them to consider just
having VO land somewhere else on the phone.
