I totally concur with Eileen on this and I'll be writing it up and 
publishing it on our blog tomorrow. 

But the long and the short of it is that the Staple multipurpose 
laser/inkjet labels don't take a good enough image to be routinely 
scannable at small geometries like the 5160 label.

The Avery ones work much better with laser printers.

I also agree with her advice on scanning -- she is using the audible 
feedback from the system in a very smart way and it is clearly working well.
