I just used the CamCaption app to take a gag photo and enter my own caption and text it to some family members without any sighted help. The Magnifier and Flashlight Pro app is labeled nicely and easy enough to get around with VO. Being completely blind, I have no idea how well the magnification feature works, but it's there and accessible if any partials want to try their hand at it. I downloaded the recipe Master app for my sighted wife since she's more or less taken ownership of my iPad and figured it would be a good thing to try for her as she's got papers and magazines all over the house with this and that recipe, but pleasantly enough, everything seems to be labeled properly and is accessible with Voiceover.
