After having tried the hq voice on my IPod 3rd gen and my IPad 1, I had given up on it. I just got an IPhone 4s and am quite pleased with how the HQ voice works on it. Response is snappy, not sluggish. It doesn't cut out or miss syllables or break up in any way as it did on the other devices to greater or lesser degree, especially the IPod. It must be dependent on the processor and/or the amount of ram. Not sure how much ram the 4S has, but I think it is the same as my IPad 1, so perhaps it is just the processor difference.
