I think if you hear the noise, you are doing it right. You will have
different selections depending on where you are and in which app. That has
been my experience anyway.

Hi All
I've been using an iPhone for about two weeks now and an iPad for longer and
there is still one gesture I'm having a lot of difficulty with. It's the
rotor, I know you have to turn two fingers as though you are pressing a dial
but I find that some times it doesn't work. It makes a sound but the setting
doesn't move. I was wondering if anyone experiences this problem and also
what the best finger positioning for the Rotor is.
Any advice is much appreciated.
