Hi Sandy, You just hold and slide to the right to the edge until you hear a little noise, and it will say page 2. As far as contacts, there is usual a separate icon for them. Maybe they inadvertently got moved into your mail folder by mistake. In that case, you should be able to double tap and pull out of there.
