I found an app called "solar monitor" by egrafics which is quite accessible to vo I found. It costs $1.99 and I found it in the Canadian apple app store although it might be in other app stores too so you might try searching for it using your app search function.
The app gives you access to the solar flux number and the planetary k index as well as the speed of the solar wind. There is also a space weather forecast available too. There are four tabs along the bottom of the window which allows you to choose between current conditions, telescope, forecasts, and charts. The telescope and charts are not accessible for obvious reasons. On the current conditions and forecasts tabs I have found that most of the vo jestures work perfectly. I thought I'd post this for those who are amateur radio operators or for those who just like checking up on the spaceweather in the area near the earth. I tried another app from nasa but it was completely inaccessible because all that app shows were snap shots of the sun from various space mounted telescopes.
