Darla, I forgot to mention that the iPhone manual available from the Lighthouse is a brailled version of the regular Apple manual. It's also available online as an html document and in several other forms. The book by Anna Dresner is written specifically for blind users, and while I haven't read it, I can imagine, knowing other books Anna has written, that it will be extremely helpful both for introducing concepts and as a reference manual. I'm also guessing that there wouldn't be much in the iphone manual from the Lighthouse that you wouldn't get in Anna's and Dean's book. If you like having things in Braille, you might want to spring for both, but in general, you'd do just fine with the NBP book.
