Thanks to Aman, I have this link for any of you who are interested in the
single sheet feeder scanner as a possible anser to post and document scanning.

Now, again, it isn't cheap, about 240 Dollars, I think, but much cheaper than
the adaptive tech answer, though, remember, this is a single sheet feeder, so,
not for books. It will take someone with the dosh and the desire to try it out
before we will know if this will work for us. Because I am one of the lucky
ones who finds Prizmo workable, that won't be me. However, I am still looking
into the stand option which would certainly help me for more reliably perfect
scans of multipaged documents.
please report back if any of you get a chance to at least give this a
trial. I like the fact that it can create searchable PDFs.
