Hi, if your contacts are living only in your iPHone, and not in the cloud, you should still be able to use them, but you will have to use the GV Connect App. I personally find it superior to the free Google Voice app. However if you want to get your contacts into Google itself, you can go to http://contacts.google.com and sign in, then you can import them from a csv file. It may take some work, but once you have it done, it's very nice. I took it a step further and just have my iPhone sync contacts from Google and so if I ever restore my phone, or upgrade it, or change it, I can just sync from Google again and all my contacts are there for voice, email, and whatever else.
