I recently discovered a awesome Publisher
Downside is finding a decent app.. I'm a low-vision user and a
VoiceOver user so I mix it up a bit depending on what I need to do.

http://oreilly.com/

Sells there books an gives them away DRM Free in daisy, epub, mobi,
and pdf formats. They even have a Safari store that its totally
optimized for mobile Safari. I say store but I guess I mean viewer
haven't quite figured out how that works yet. But its sweet.
I think its subscription based but you might get access to books
you've bought as well... not sure.

The App problem is a bigger problem.
On the VoiceOver front you got.
Google Play Books
iBooks

That's about it...
In the low vision front al lthe apps
Google Play Books
iBooks
Kindle

seem to have arbratray limiations on Zoom size which seems to stop
somewhere around 32 pt font... which isn't as big as you'd expect
compared to a printout. For Example to get 32pt size on an iPad I
usually transfer PDFs with 42pt font.

My solution for the Low Vision need is using O'Reily and then opening
a ePub in BlueFire on iOS... It has pratically no functional VoiceOver
features but it has an unlimiited Zoom.

Enjoy!
