Hi, just go to the camera uploads folder and nuke them after you upload and get the extra free space.

Hi Rob, this is actually completely legitimate, and what's more, as
you upload more photos and videos you can earn even more extra space
up to a limit, at the moment, of 3 GB. See this post on the Dropbox
Blog for more information.

The photos and videos are not public unless you specifically opt to
share them.

Cheers,

Grant

Dear List,
Yesterday I connected my iPhone to the PC and a Dropbox window opened
asking me to import pictures to Dropbox, and by doing so, I would get
extra space.
I never heard anyone talk about this before, & am surprised when this
window popped up.
here is the email I received:
Bonus space received!
Hi Rob,

We think it's awesome that you've automatically uploaded photos to
Dropbox! You received 500 MB bonus space with your first camera upload.
As you take
and upload more, you can earn up to 3 GB total!

Check out your photos by signing into your
Dropbox on the web.

Happy picture taking!
