Hi Kirsten,
It may be that the Genre or album tag is incorrect on one or more tracks,
thus splitting the album into two folders.

Subject: Music sinking question

Hi,

I have recently synced my music onto my 4S and my iPad. Today, I have
discovered that certainly on my iPad, several albums appear twice. Any ideas
why this is? What do I need to do to make sure they are on there only once?

In the past, when I had a shuffle, I found it easier to use playlists (I
can't remember the word). Might this be why they are coming up twice? My
iTunes perhaps still has them, although I'm not sure. Should I try deleting
them? And seeing what happens when I sync next time?

Having said this, some of the albums that are coming up twice, I don't think
I ever had in playlists, because they are newer than my shuffle.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Thanks

Kirsten.
