Hello Jonathon and all. Just revisiting this. Since Tweetlist has been
updated after this discussion took place, I haven't experienced the
problem as described. Are you finding the same thing?

My special ed. teacher is soooo mean! I was late for class and he called
me tardy! He's not supposed to make fun of my issues!

Thanks Raul, I've sent tweets to them without a response, but emailed
lastnight, so hopefully they can take a look.

Subject: Re: A Tweetlist Oddity
Hi Jonathan, I can duplicate the behavior as you describe and I also am
unable to find a solution. Perhaps an email to their support address is
warranted. They have shown great interest in getting things working with
Voice Over users so I'm sure they will be responsive. I'll do some more
playing and get someone sighted to test this without Voice Over and see if
it happens there as well.

Hi everyone, I own Tweetlist Pro, and other than the lack of push
natively in the app, really like its feature set and the developers'
commitment to accessibility. I am, however, experiencing an annoyance.
If I reply to a tweet, either by double tapping to open the tweet and
choosing the reply button, or doing a double tap and hold to invoke
the shortcut menu and then choosing reply, I am placed in the edit
field with the "@Username" completed and focus at the end of that
text, ready for me to type. That's the expected behaviour and what I want
to happen.
However, if I don't type anything within about a second, the edit
field closes. This requires me to double tap the edit field to open it
again, but now, focus is at the beginning of the field, so I must
double tap a second time to return focus to the end of the tweet. As
you can no doubt see, this amounts to quite a few taps just to reply.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried this without changing
any options from their defaults. A few times, the edit field did not
close, but most of the time, it did. It's possible some VoiceOver
setting is having an affect on this, but it's difficult to determine
what that might be, and I'm not experiencing it on other Twitter apps
I have used.My wife is also seeing this, we both have the iPhone 4S
running iOS 5.11.
Has anyone else seen this and found how to fix it?
Jonathan
