I asked the question about Navigon versus IOS 6 Maps a few days ago, and one difference that Raul pointed out, is that Maps in IOS 6 will need a data connection while Navigon will use locally stored maps. This will mean that you'll eat up your data plan if you're out and about using Maps. For this reason, it may still make sense to purchase Navigon.
