You can then use it anywhere in the world you have phone signal. This method even works with VOIP dialling services. Examples: The country code is +1 in the US, so the number in contacts would be +15555551212 which the phone will then display as +1-5555-555-1212. I live in NZ with country code +64. Thus, my mobile number is entered as +64212288288 which is displayed as +64 21 228 8288 in contacts. Yes, it will fit the dresser. It's compact with two speakers built in to one unit. Between speakers on the left and right is the station to place your phone/ipod.Sounds great. Comes with a remote. Is portable with some effort. The unit takes three AA batteries that are useful if you lose power. . As I said it can work as a speaker for your computer and other mp3 players. Mine did not come with auxiliary cable but you should be able to purchase it if you plan to play other devices. AM and FM work great. I don't use the antanaes that come with it but if you have poor reception you can use them, separate antaena for AM and FM. It has an alarm clock and it can play your favorite station or song from your iPhone/iPod at the desired time. But it is not really accessible so you will need some help to set it up. Basic functions are pretty accessible without any help. ----- Original Message ----- From: jessica Diaz To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, June 15, 2012 4:35 PM Subject: RE: does This Exist? Make sure to read the description closely if you are buying such a thing from ebay. I have been sold something in the name of a docking station in the past that did not charge the unit. It just had place to adjust the iPhone. I now have a JBL On Time Micro Speaker System which is compact and sounds great. It charges all kind of iPods and iPhones, and is also Great for using with a computer or other mp3 players using an auxiliary cable. It comes with a remote control but costs about $200. You will often find it cheaper on amazon. Last time I checked it was about $90. It seems to be much more information than you asked for but more you know better you can make choices. I use: MP3 to iPod/iPhone Audio Book Converter converts any number of MP3 files into one big iPod Audio Book File. The advantage of doing this is that you can make use of the advanced audio book functionality of your iPod. Your iPod or iPhone remembers the last position you were listening in your audio book. So you can alway start listening where you stopped the last time. Even if you were listening to music or another audio book in the meantime. Read more about your iPod's Audio Book features . This feature gets really valuable for audio books consiting of many small files. With this software you can combine all this files to a single file and you don't have to worry anymore on which file you stopped listening the last time. MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter runs on Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. There is no version for Mac or Linux yet. -----Original Message----- From: Maria Chapman Sent: Saturday, June 16, 2012 5:39 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Differentiate between songs and audio books on i phone? For windows i used to use chapter and verse, but any programme that will join mp3 files would work. once you have joined all the parts, add it to your iTunes library and tell iTunes it's an audio book by pressing control, or command i and navigating to the tab where you cam change the media type to audio book. anyone who has a better and clearer explanation feel free to jump in.
