Hi, I don't knnow, I just saw it mentioned on the Apple FAQ page for Siri. As casually as they say you can speak, I wonder if you can say "message Fred & Tom" bla bla bla, and so on.

On the native Message ap, there is a little plus sign in a circle that allows you to add additional recipients to your message, which means sighted users have this capability without having to use other appps.
