Is this the same procedure for deleting Audible downloads from the phone?
The step for deleting music works for me, but apparently, Audible books are
deleted differently. I didn't put my books on the phone with Itunes, I just
downloaded them with the Audible app. Any ideas?

double-tap and hold. When you here a sound, immediately move to the right.
After that, you'll find a delete button.
