Hi. They paid for renewing the domain. It turns out that apparently that
was the only problem. So, no need to change anything.
Now, let's take this discussion off list or change it to another list
where it's more appropriate.
Many thanks.

Hello Everyone,
Maybe I'm missing something here but when I open up FireFox, I get a message
saying that I am logged into Web Visum.
I have not yet modified the host file.
Yet, when I try to go to their website, it appears as though the domain is
up for grabs.
Do I still need to modify the host file?
Is there a recommended website for testing whether web visum is still
working?
All replies welcomed.

For those interested, the domain seems to have been renewed for a tenyear
term.

All,
A cautionary note, this resolves the immediate problem, the expired
domain.
It in no way guarantees that the service will continue to function
into the future. If some one on this list knows those behind the
scenes with Webvisum, this would be the time to contact them with
offers of encouragement and support. What would it take to fully
restore and maintain the service? If you have a means of reaching the
maintainers please do so and please contact me off list:
[email protected] I would be very willing to directly assist with this
if I knew who to contact.
Regards,

Hi all.
Here's a way how to make Webvisum working again.
Edit this file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
At the end of this fyle type this:
204.14.19.231 api.webvisum.com
Save the file and restart your browser...
Now WebVisum will work again normally.
