Hi, If you go back and read any of the Jobs biographies or watch any of the movies I believe that you will see that although he could be an asshole, Jobs was a visionary. His ideology was the driving force behind total control of the products that Apple created. Universal access was only a part of that ideology. Is there a particular document that exists explaining why they included TTS in their designs? No clue. This is just my conclusions from reading and watching the Jobs phenomenon.
