Voxer is another Walky talky app. I like Zello better for that, but Voxer does work for sending and receiving spoken messages.

Zellow is ok, althought not necessarily better, since you've got to wait for people to accept your contact. I like the fact that you can talk on public channels though. To delete messages from voxer, double tap and hold your finger on a message, and swipe to the right. Take your finger off and look for confirm delete whatever that message is. Once you delete messages you've read you won't have so many to look through to find teh unread ones. Hope that helps, Harmony.
