Hi, I hope somebody can help me with my problem. I recently had to reinstall Lion on my mac. Unfortunately, this has made i tunes think that my i devices no longer associate with it's library. I was told that to fix this, all I have to do is to back up my i devices up to my mac and then synch them, but I don't see how to do this. I see a place where reference to back up is made, radio buttons for either "this computer" or "i cloud" are, but no ok button or whatever to get it started. I have no previous backups to select from, sadly.
I tried to just go back to the beginning and erase everything and synch, but i tunes said that my i pad wasn't big enough. I haven't tried the i phone yet as I have a load of ring tones on it I don't want to lose without knowing what to do first. Why this mess is the way it is is a long story-I have back ups of everything else, but not of my i devices! anyway, hope someone can help! thanks!
