I load my books and other study material on the iPhone4 in the app called "I like to read". I load the files in .rtf format, one chapter per file, and set the app to read .rtf files as text files (or something like that). That setting and file format makes for the best reading experience on the iPhone in my opinion. Each flick right or left reads the next or previous paragraph in its entirety, and if needed I can then read line by line by setting the rotar to "lines" and flicking up or down.
I have found that many apps don't read .doc or .txt files very well, they often break the material into unusual chunk sizes, reading most of a paragraph, and then a few short snippits, then the next paragraph... . but this combination does work quite well for me. With this setup, I can read a chapter from a bookanyplace I have a little quiet and a little time. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
