HHi, The problem I faced when purchasing books from Amazon is that they are protected by DRM. You have to remove the DRM before you can convert the book to an epub or pdf. i found a program for my mac that does this quite nicely, and I know Caliber for PC will do it as well, but I could never get it to work with Jaws. Perhaps it'd work with NVDA or Window Eyes.
Also, inorder to remove the drm, you have to install the Kindle PC app and have the book sent wirelessly to your pc. Otherwise, if you were to have it sent to the app on your phone, for example, you would need to get your phone's PID in order to remove the DRM.
