This is a good suggestion. My advice, and this may sound kind of harsh,
is to use the delete key when such a message comes in. I mean the
message where a digest is being replied to and the subject hasn't been
updated or the extraneous material hasn't been trimmed.  IMHO, it's up
to the sender to put in enough time to make their message readable. If
someone doesn't  or isn't willing to put that much effort into their
message then I don't feel obligated to read it. Like I said, that may
sound kind of harsh, but that's my $0.02. I'm not paid to be on any of
these lists!
