Hi, Rick. I didn't upgrade to the hopper until a week ago or so; so I probably 
wasn't paying attention. 
I did call a few people in tech support including one in their broadband 
department who said he would relay my concerns to engineering.
But, like you, I never would hear anything from Dish whenever I had something I 
needed to tell them about the iPhone app.
In all fairness, I should say that AT&TU-verse was no better. I never could 
find anyone I could talk to.
I don't see why they couldn't put this feature back in. After all, the 922 has 
a sling adapter built into the receiver. If nothing else, they could make it 
possible just to control the hopper and not the joeys.
Who knows if they will.
It would sure be nice if a blind user could have just ten minutes with the 
developer of the app.
