i just got an IPad also. i found that if you go to the tabbs at the
left of the screen it will say IPhone Ipad or whatever apps you are
trying to find in the purchased secdtion. to get new apps just go all
the way to the right where it says the catagories tabb and then go back
to the left to the edit box and type in what you are searching for.
