Hi, I successfully use downcast all the time to listen to books. It
keeps my place very well. I think depending on your file names, perhaps
this might be the reason for the trouble with ordering your files. Do
you have them ordered a certain way? If ordering is a problem, you can
always rename the files before importing them.
Good luck.

Hello Listers,
I have a set of mp3 files of an audio book. What are some recommendations for
the best way to read this on the iphone? Is there a program for concatinating
them into a single file? Should i create a m4b file so i can keep my place in
the book? What are alternatives to itunes for listening to it? I have used
downcast to import podcast mp3 files before, but it seems to mix the order of
imported files. Any suggestions and experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.
