The other thing about GoldWave is that the designer has maintained a commitment to keeping it very blind friendly. Virtually everything can be done with keystrokes. It is, in my opinion, a very advanced audio editor, though it is not a multi-track editor. It handles Voice Over projects extremely well. This is the original use of the term Voice Over, as in Voice Over music, grin. Besides, you won't find an audio editor with the keyboard access that comes close to GoldWave for only about $50.00. He has never charged for an update either. It will now even edit m4a files.
