Go to the file menu in iTunes and choose transfer purchases. Then she can
sync the phone as music should be on both and laptop once transfer is
complete.

Subject: rescueing music the iPhone
My sister has music on her iPhone that she doesn't want to lose. Her laptop
that she originally had her library on had to have the hard drive replaced.
When she goes into iTunes it tells her that her phone is synced with another
library and how everything on her phone will be removed. Is there a way for
her to save the music on the phone and sync it with the new library?
