I haven't used EverNote yet, but I'm sure there are quite a few apps
that will do something similar if not better than the built in Notes app
or most any built in app. I think it's handy if you want to take a note
down somewhere, like on your PC, but have it available to you
everywhere, such as on your phone. Of course the reverse might also come
in handy. EverNote probably does this as well, as does a number of apps
which keep your notes elsewhere in the cloud, such as DropBox, Google
Drive, iCloud, SkyDrive and so on. The built in Notes app though is part
of your phone, and other than setting up your email you don't have to
install anything or do anything else to have your notes kept in the
cloud and accessed from anywhere or any device where you can get to your
email.
