The copy feature certainly works quite well and easily because it just
automatically copies to your clipboard so, from there, you can go and open
whatever app you want to use for that text. You don't have to do anything
in terms of selecting text which can be a headache.

That would be a problem for me since generally when I
want to be fast is when texting one friend especially
since she usually has a text message to me before I can
answer the first one especially if I am not home where
the Bluetooth keyboard is. If I can't implement it from
text or something what good will this do me except as a
toy to play with.
I bought it mostly to support a company who is doing work
that should benefit us all, and unless there is an easy
way to text or e-mail, not that I use my phone for that
much, or to make notes of things, enter calender events
more quickly, for me it is just showing some support for
the vendor.
Now if one can actually send the text quickly without
having to switch back and forth, copying, pasting etc,
then I would gladly sing its praises.
Disappointed but not surprised that Apple won't let this
work the way it should. It is the only thing I dislike
about Vokul, once I get an answer in the message Ap I
have to return to it or, which is usually the case,
struggle with the phone keyboard and get three more
responses before I can manage to send a coherent one
back.
If I could get the Refreshabraille to actually work it
might be easier but it is one more think I would have to
carry in a purse that now is heavier than I would like.
Fleksy is my birthday present to myself, more of a
donation to keep the vendor going than for my personal
use I think despite all the great things it does, no
integration means it is likely I won't use it.

Well, I am usually the last to try these alternative
input methods. I got bored with using the built in
dictate for example. For some reason I really wanted to
try this app despite being a bit sceptical. After 30
seconds of using it I have to say instantly I am very
impressed! I am typing like I was when I first got the
iPhone back in 2008 (I had vision then). This input
method is quite accurate, intuitive and enjoyable. I
would love to see this actually implemented directly into
the OS.
I can see myself using this for typing emails, notes, or
lengthy messages. I don't think I would use it for
conversations via text though, hence why I would like to
see it added as a keyboard option to enable this.
This app really is good and I can't believe how quick I
have picked it up and how few errors I have made. Even
if you do type the wrong word, you can easily cycle
through suggested alternatives by swiping down.
Punctuation is so much easier too.

It's a program that allows you to type letters without
being
absolutely precise. After you type what you think the
letters of a
word are, Fleksy uses what I like to call Word
Prediction. What this means is that when you complete
the word you are typing, a swipe to
the right inserts the word followed by a space character
and it is verbalized by Fleksy. If the word is correct,
you continue typing the next word. If the word is not
correct, you can swipe up and I believe down to
hopefully find the word you want and it will be entered.
It
is important to note that when you begin typing,
VoiceOver must be unloaded, as speech is generated by
Fleksy. I also downloaded the app and look forward to
learning it.
