I haven't noticed any change in battery life since using this app. I
have
been beta testing it for the last couple of weeks, just to put this in
context.

The best idea with this app is to load it when you start your phone,
then
just leave it running in the app switcher. That way you can use it
instantly
when you want to use it, without having to wait for the dictionary files
to
be loaded.

Same here, have contacted them regarding what I thought was a fault with
the
app. Turned out it was my lack of patience. You must wait about 1 minute
for
the app to load. This is unlike other apps where they generally load
instantly.

A free version will at least allow the user to see if they like

I was excited about it when I heard the podcast. I do have some
usable vision so there are times I do turn off voiceover and type,
but this can lead to some interesting auto-corrects! Because I
don't see well enough to read the screen without magnification and
when you use zoom it enlarges the keyboard-- at least that's how it
does on my iPad making it impossible to type with magnification on!
LOL
Anyway, waiting for others to chime in. I suppose I may get it as
I do miss the fast paced typing I used to do on my N82.
