Hi,

I had this problem with my 3GS & iPad 2. I know those aren't the same
devices that you have, but I fixed both of them *touch wood* by
reinstalling iOs, setting them up as new devices in iTunes and then
manually choosing what stuff I wanted to sync. I'd spent the last week
verifying that it wasn't a network issue, although the weird thing was
that both devices would drop wifi within a few seconds of eachother.
It was quite annoying that I couldn't find the exact problem, but it
seems to be working now.
