I have an idea, but I don't know if it will work. Go to Setting, General, Bluetooth on the iPhone. Make sure bluetooth is on. Then, make your HP keyboard discoverable.
Search for it on the iPhone under discoverable. I think you may need to enter the pairing code 0000 on the keyboard and hit enter.
