Hi Donald.
This is definitely not operator error. <grin.> I have already given Tune
In an earfull about this practice and well, see how much clout I have?
Hahahaha! Some radio stations restrict their broadcasts and won't let
Tune In have them. When this is the case, we used to actually get a
message saying, restricted by broadcaster. But since a few updates ago,
for some reason, they just take us to another station. It absolutely
drives me crazy. In their Email response to me they just said, this is
what we do now. I'll probably continue to go to their web site and
complain about this.
But that's the answer. Kind of a bummer, isn't it.
In the meantime, welcome to the world of IOS.

Before outlining the problem, I must say that I am fairly new to the
world of IOS, and this may well be some sort of operator error.
I bought Tune In Radio and really like it but am having a problem with
the station search. For example, when I enter KFI into the search
field, it locates KFI in Los Angeles. However, when I click on KFI to
play it, I hear a station in Palm Springs California on 94.3 FM. This
is not random as every time I search for KFI, I get the same result.
Another example is KSTE in Sacramento. Conversely, most of my searches
yield the correct results.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? Thanks.
