Hello Debbie,

If, like me, you have no sight at all, it's best to use the Light Detector app
to find the best position in which to hold the iPhone.

With Perfect OCR, tap the SureScan 3x button. The next screen says, "Please
take 3 pictures of the document. Wait for autofocus to engage or tap the
display to focus on anything in the picture". Swipe right and tap the "Take 3
pictures now" button.

On the next screen, tap the Camera button and wait for the screen to refresh
before tapping it again, and then a third time.

On the next screen, tap Done.

On the next screen, tap Next, then activate the OCR button.

There will then be a pause before VO says, OCR in progress, English, please
wait. On this screen, you can follow the progress of the OCR.

The next screen will either show the text or say "Could not recognise text".

If you succeed in getting text, the screen will show:
at the top, Preview back button, Document heading, Main button, OCR quality
(the best I've had is 5), OCR tips button.
The middle of the screen is filled with the text.
Along the bottom:
On the left, Action button; in the middle, Cancel button; on the right, Email
button.

Tapping Main will take you back to the scanning screen.

Cheers,

Anne
